Welcome to Ron's Wakefield Inn.  Our motel is located in the small town of Wakefield, KS on the north end of Milford Lake.  This location offers you quick and easy access to the fishing on Milford Lake, the Wetlands at Milford Lake, and great hunting areas of North Central Kansas.

History of our Inn

Originally named Sportsman Inn, this motel was owned and operated by Ron and Sandy Larson for nearly 10 years.  This has been a way to stay active in their community and provide something to the people of the Wakefield and those visiting us. 

 

Ron and Sandy have recently retired and the motel will carry on as a tribute to their dedication to the community of Wakefield.  Throughout 2022, we will upgrade the motel and make updates to the property and hope you enjoy your stay with us.

We have recently renovated at the Inn. 

Here are the things that we have updated:

  • Walls painted

  • New vinyl plank flooring

  • Ceiling fans with lights

  • New beds, pillows, linens, blankets

  • New desk, refrigerator (with freezer), microwaves

  • New 50" SmartTV's with streaming

  • Wi-Fi

  • New towels, washcloths

  • New decor (stuffed animals have been banished)
